Measurecamp London 2018
Last weekend I popped my Measurecamp cherry.
Packed choc full of eager analytics nerds, this free ‘unconference’ is well worth a visit – if you can get hold of a ticket that is – they sell out in seconds!
Finding your way to and from each 20 minute talk is a mad scramble, but there’s plenty of time for chats and mingling in the breaks.
Did I mention the food? It shouldn’t be the main focus of a blog post so I’ll just say it was top scran – really, really very good – and plenty of it. The venue and staff were absolutely amazing and the event is so well organised it puts larger conferences to shame. We were kept nourished and watered all day with freely available coffee tea and soft drinks. Very important to keep the grey matter focused!
And there were beer tokens 🙂
As usual the MD Charles Meaden was there, being his usual social butterfly self and mixing with the hard nuts of analytics.
A truly mixed room too – delegates and speakers came from all over Europe. Topics ranged from GA Audits to Wartime reconnaissance photography (yes really).
If you get a chance, please go. The next one will be in September 2019. Details on the Measurecamp website.
